So, end of the 1st WVU up 28-0......my question is: If/WHen LSU beats the Burners.....do we jump the media savvy WVU?
Did I just miss something. I thought Maryland got a TD in the back of the endzone to their tightend and then I look up and then they're throwing it out left to a tightend for six.
still. 28-7 is pretty bad. I'll say this, Slaton is a MONSTER. One stat I saw he had 7 rushes for 147, averaging 21 yards a run. I know a lot of people said WV has a weak schedule and I agree, but after they beat Georgia last year and even more so seeing this game, they might just be well deserving of where they're ranked. As far as jumping them, yes I think if LSU beats the no.3 team in the country they'll jump WV. No matter how many points WV puts up tonight, it's still against an unranked team.
Slaton is unbelievable, huh? What a blood bath tonight!!! Pretty good schemes from WVU too. I don't think Maryland is this bad...they just got jumped on to start the game, and it was over before it started.
I don't know about that. Media darlings have LOTS of pull...especially if they can go the entire season without a loss and not having to play anyone.
Somebody go down to Marylands sideline and shake the crap out of that return man and tell him to HOLD ON TO THE BALL!
