    from his current ESPN.com chat...

Brock (Baton Rouge): Beano, if LSU beats Ole Miss impressively, wins against Arkansas, and a high ranked opponent in the SEC championship, do you think the tigers BCS ranking could rise to #2? I'm definetly rooting for MICH. Why not LSU? They're on fire right now.

Beano Cook: (3:23 PM ET ) LSU has a chance if it wins the two games and you are right, root for Michigan.

Mike (Norman, Ok): Beano can anyone come withing 14 points of this Vaunted Oklahoma team?

Beano Cook: (3:25 PM ET ) Yes. We will find out. Remember what people said about Miami-Ohio State last year. That is why they play the games. I'm not saying someone will come within 14 points, but we will see. I think LSU's defense can make things interesting.

Good to see Beano finally finding some love for LSU. Must have been hiding under his fourth chin.

Shane (New Iberia, LA): Beano, make it 1,999,999 questions to you this year with no response. I don't know why I even send questions anymore. In the event you want to answer a couple, LSU or Ole' Miss? The score?

Beano Cook: (3:55 PM ET ) I guess 2 million is your lucky number. This is a very intirguing game to me. Can Manning and company prevail against a very good defense. LSU is the only Division I-A team to not allow atleast 20 points in any game this season. However, this will change on Saturday. LSU 30, Mississippi 27 in an OT thriller. So another year goes by without me dotting the "I". Maybe 2004! It is hard to believe the season is in the home stretch. Thanks for all of your questions. See you here next week, same time, same espn.com address
