Really... We may have differing opinions about our team; however, one thing in common is we want the Tigers to win. Let's try to focus on how the Tigers can beat Bama rather than the gloom and doom prognostications.

After 7.5yrs and a +/-82% winning pct., how can anyone say that Miles is "in over his head" with a straight face? I mean, come ON.

Now, Gene Chizik...that dude is in way over his head.

If you love a team and part of that love is wanting them to win, I am clueless as to why people consistently bitch about Miles.

Is he the best ever? Most certainty not, but he has done nothing but elevate LSU during his 8 years here.

All LSU fans should be proud of what this man has don in the most serious of all conferences in all of CFB.

It's not like he racked up 85 wins in the Mountain West. He did it in the SEC that has had the past 6 national champs.

Some people need to drink a glass of reality to understand this.

Averaging nearly 11 wins a year, Miles is having the equivolent success of Steve Spurrier in the 90s....and he could only muster 1 national championship and never had an undefeated season. He was thought to be a college football coaching god.

I think the SEC is much stronger during Miles' tenure than it was during Spurrier's run. Tons more conference depth. Having the national champ ALWAYS coming out of the SEC. 5 of 20 losses(25%), which could get to 6 of 20(30%), coming vs. the eventual national champion. Miles of consisency here ya'll. LSU has ALWAYS been right there in the national championship picture late in the season, with the only exceptions being 2008 and 2009(his only non-double-digit win seasons). One can argue that LSU has been the most consisent football program of the millenium. All in the best conference(and division, for that matter) in the country. Keep your heads up Tiger fans! Let's get a good bowl victory and re-load for another run at it next year. Oh, what could have been if we had played better D to end each half vs. Bama. Two difficult losses to Bama are sticking in our craw for sure.
