You said it all there !! Of course you are from Bossier so I would expect common sense from you !! NIU has a couple of nice wins for a MAC team. They are to be commended for that. But Top Ten !!!!!!!! They beat a bad Bama team and upset a not so hot Maryland team at home !! Anyone think they could win 7 games plying a legit D1 schedule ????????
Another Laugher: TCU !!!!!! They've been barely beating a bunch of dreg teams all year. If not for us losing to UAB in Saban's first year, I would rip them for barely escaping with a win while hosting the Blazers last Saturday !!!!!!!
Northern Illinois is a nice little Cinderella story...but LSU would beat them, as would almost everyone else in the BCS standings right now. Their schedule strength is #100 out of, what, 117 D-IA teams? C'mon.
LSU just needs to keep winning, and things will sort itself out. If, hypothetically, LSU won the rest of their games, there's no way N. Illinois will continue to be ranked higher.

NIU being that far head is ridiculous, but that's kind of how the BCS works. Things usually work themselves out in the end.
