Yesterday when i was watching the espn they interviewed Brad Edwards and he gave his idea what needs to happen . If Texas loses one of its next 2 games to either a & m or the big 12 championship he says they are completely done for it. If USC happens to loose to UCLA they still have chance but the human polls could keep them out of it , the fresno game made them loose votes and a lot of voters would probably think that UCLA and USC could be even ,hurting USC. He says Penn St is maxed out right now he doesnt think they could go any higher and if LSU should to win out they would have an excellent chance of jumping PSU. I think i got it all correct if anyone noticed i made an error sorry and please correct me. Now i would love to see a&m step it up and see a nice performance out of UCLA wouldnt be bad either haha :geauxtige LSU! :champs: :bball: :crystal: ldskule: :helmet: :tigerhead  :tigbas: GEAUX TIGERS!!! whip them arkies and lets have some hog gumbeaux
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards He said in his chat on espn.com yesterday that Penn State has about a 65% likelihood of maintaining it's lead over LSU. Edit: I am assuming you meant Brad Edwards.
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards The thing that is in LSU's favor is that PSU's season is over until it's bowl game. We've still got 2 games to play & one of them is against a top 10 team in the SECCG. That would help keep LSU fresh in the mind of voters + the fact that it's only been 2 years since our last national championship, where as it's been 10 years since PSU was on this kind of national scale. USC simply won't be denied a shot at the NC without atleast 2 losses. Even if they lose to UCLA, they will be declared the best one loss team in the country & will get in the Rose Bowl. IMO, our only hope is for Texas to lose & us to pass both them & PSU.
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards Can't see Texas losing but if they did.. They would certainly fall a lot more than USC would.. Considering who they would be losing to. Maybe I need to go join TejasTiger over the weekend and watch those aggies play.
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards I hope we make a good statement in the human polls by destroying the hoggies and doggies
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards Friday should be a good day for football .....Texass and A&m play at noon and us at 2:30......2 really big games for LSU
I originally made this post in another forum... In order for Penn State's SOS to drop we need help from the following teams. This week, keep an eye on South Florida vs. UConn, Cinn. vs. Rutgers and Wisconsin vs. Hawaii. Next week we'll be watching the South Florida vs. West Virginia game which should be a loss for South Florida (as well as Penn State). South Florida (Connecticut, West Virginia) Cincinnati (Rutgers) Central Michigan (Done) Northwestern (Done) Minnesota (Done) Ohio State (Done) Michigan (Done) Illinois (Done) Purdue (Done) Wisconsin (Hawaii) Michigan State (Done) We also need to keep an eye on the following games from LSU's opponent's schedule: Arizona State (Arizona) Tennessee (Kentucky) Mississippi St. (Mississippi) Vanderbilt (Done) Florida (Florida State) Auburn (Done) North Texas (Arkansas State) Alabama (Done) Mississippi (Miss. State) Of course the outcome of the Ole Miss/Miss State game is a wash. One team's loss will hurt LSU while one team's win will help. The only difference that I can see will be if Ole Miss's 4-7 record will help more than Miss State's record of 2-9 will hurt. Tennessee and North Texas will most likely win their games. We need upsets from Florida and Arizona State along with losses from South Florida (two more), Cincinnati and Wisconsin to get the maximum possible help. Of course a win over UGA in the SECCG is a must or all this talk is useless. So, here are the games to watch out for the next two weeks with who we're pulling for in BOLD: Code: November 25 Arizona State vs Arizona 2:00 PM November 25 Wisconsin at Hawaii 8:05 PM (ESPN2) November 26 Mississippi at Mississippi St. 1:30 PM November 26 North Texas vs Arkansas State 1:00 PM November 26 Florida vs Florida State 2:30 PM (CBS) November 26 Tennessee at Kentucky 11:30 PM November 26 South Florida at Connecticut 2:30 PM (ABC) November 26 Cincinnati at Rutgers 12:00 PM November 26 Georgia at Georgia Tech 7:00 PM (ABC) December 3 South Florida vs West Virginia TBA BTW, you can watch Tennessee play Kentucky at the Yahoo! Broadcasts page found here.
Re: BCS guru Brandon Edwards You or any other Tiger fans wanting to root for the Ags are certainly welcome to join us, as we'll be tailgating with some Ags prior to the game. Besides, I don't want to be the only guy wearing LSU gear at that game...LOL.
