Lots of talk this week about how the BCS will screw the Tigers and I am as guilty as anybody about ranting about the BCS unfairness but right now the most important thing is for the team to play with maximum intensity in each remaining game. If we don't beat Alabama we won't even be in a position to be screwed by the BCS. The Tide is 4-6 but they are the best 4-6 team in the country. They came closer than anybody else to beating Oklahoma, they had a big lead on Arkansas before a 4th quarter collapse on defense and they pushed Tennessee to 3 overtimes. LSU has their highest ranking in the polls since 1961 but that won't mean a damn thing if they don't take care of business Saturday. Does anybody remember the last time the Tigers were coming off of a bye week? Ranked #6 and lots of euphoria among Tiger fans. Since the loss to Florida the Tigers have been on a roll and are playing as well as anybody. I hope the players remember what happened and go to Tuscaloosa with the same 110% intensity they have played with in the Auburn game. When the Tigers bring their A game they are as good or better than any team in college football, polls and computer rankings notwithstanding. Nick Saban's record at Michigan State and LSU following bye weeks is 7-8. Its time to even that out. If LSU beats Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas and the SEC East Champ in the next 4 weeks they will probably still get screwed by the BCS unless both USC and Ohio State lose a game. If that happens there will be plenty of screaming about that including a lot of screaming by yours truly but first we have to make sure that we have something to scream about. I am not a player and if any of you Tigerforums.com members is an LSU football player shame on you for wasting your time arguing on an internet forum instead of putting on your game face.

I don't give a rats ass about the BCS right now. If LSU wins out, I will have an opinion on the BCS, I am sure. If LSU doesn't win out, I still won't give a rats ass about the BCS.

What I want is to see right now is Bryant-Denny stadium half empty in the 3rd quarter.

Dominate in every single game, Tigers. We have some paying back to do to Bama.

Fran got his payback, via Oklahoma, on Saturday.

The Tide will feel our full wrath on Saturday night. We learned our lesson against Florida--NO MORE LETDOWNS! NO LOOKING AHEAD!

It would have been a lot sweeter to see a Nick Saban coached LSU team put that kind of a beating on a Franchione coached team.
