Anybody care? http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2218701 Excerpt: "While 13 of 30 schools that made coaching changes in the last year received either an A or B, more than half earned average, below average or failing grades. Among those at the bottom end were LSU, Florida and Marshall. Schools are evaluated on efforts to interview candidates of color, diversity of the hiring process, the time frame of the search, adherence to institutional affirmative action hiring policies and contact with either Keith or the chairman of the NCAA's Minority Opportunity and Interests Committee."
What ever happened to, "Best person for the job"??? Those people that run those types of articles won't be satisfied until schools start hiring solely based on color.
The BCA, NAACP and the rest of the "Colored" organizations can stop whining about what they don't get and appreciate what they have... their exclusive organizations.
Hmm i dont guess they look at current minority coaches on campus because last time I checked we had quite a few...
I could care less what our rating is here... 2 of our best coaches are Pokey Chatman and Karl Dunbar... I don't need some idiot ratings system to tell me that my school is or isn't racist in hiring coaches...
Agreed... Name me one black coach without a job or as an assistant that isn't top dog that deserves to be a head coach, but isn't Edit: sorry... I was unclear the 1st time
