I assume logistically that Brandon Bass is officailly in the draft and he has to actively pull his name out by 5 pm est to be officially out of the draft. Would somebody wake his ass up before he over-sleeps! Seriously, if he's waiting this long, he's a goner. it irks me that a kid would make such a terrible mistake when all he has to do is come back, improve his game, and he's a top 15 pick and looking at a nice guaranteed contract.

He said from the beginning that he was going to wait until the last minute to decide.

heads or tails? the kid said if he's a top 20 pick he would enter the draft. is he waiting for some revelation from marty blake that suddenly teams are salivating over him. by this time, he's either a top 20 pick or not. take off the diapers brandon, you're in for a rude awakening.

The rule states that the NBA must receive notification IN WRITING prior to 5:00 PM EST today in order for Bass to remove his name from the draft and retain college eligibility. So, I hope that he is not only awake, but that he has an operable fax machine in his living room right underneath his satellite-controlled, Swiss made digital, quartz, cuckoo and grandfather clocks with backup gas, solar and hamster wheel power. I also hope he hasn’t been eating Mexican food today… :dis:

This kid needs to get off his Bass and punch those fax numbers really soon.

Did he ever have any intention of returning? I get that feeling right about now that he may have wanted to keep his options open in the case of a tryout injury or other mishap, continue to use the LSU facilities and coaches, and put off the natural negative reaction of the fans to his early departure. I hope I’m dead wrong!

I know we don't all work in the Athletic Dept. and I know LSU is not a "basketball school," but why in the hell can't we get any information regarding the immediate future of our best basketball player - and, in turn, the immediate future of our entire program?

I wouldn't be surprised if bass hasn't even given brady a courtesy call yet. a clear testimony of the state of basketball at LSU. he's gone.

Jimmy Ott just reported his 'source' has told him Bass withdrew name from the draft. So I guess this means he's gone.
