Whats your thoughts on this years basketball season and team. How did brady do so far this year.:geauxtige
I think just given where most basketball pundits predicted LSU would be (a top 40 team), Brady needs to be commended to have the Tigers where they are (a RPI top 20 team). I think the positives are we have a VERY young team, that relies heavily on 3 freshman (Thomas, Temple and Tasmin), and Brady has them gelling and playing well together. Given also the fact that the Tigers played a very tough non-conference and survived WITHOUT getting down on themselves (which would have frustrated a team that did not have the good chemistry of this team), I'm very happy with a SEC leading position. About the only thing you can maybe say is that we should have won perhaps 2 more games (Houston, and either Northern Iowa at home, or Cincy in Vegas) ... but then, I'm not sure anyone expected us to be 8-1 in the SEC at this juncture. So, overall in response to the question... the Tigers are exceeding expectations. It all comes down to the post-season though. Brady's ability to get the UAB taste out of people's mouths will be the final indicator on this season. :geauxtige
