Currently our men are ranked #27 in the Coaches Poll and #29 in the AP Poll. With a win over Miss. State we would surely vault into the top 25. State is #20 in the AP and #24 in the Coaches Poll. The best thing we could hope for would be for them to knock off Kentucky tomorrow, so that we can show the country that we are for real. Maybe the AP Poll will give us some respect then. I hate the Associated Press!!!! FYI: Our RPI rating is #17 and we all know how much the Tournament committee pays attention to RPI.
ESPNs latest "braketology" has us projected as a number 7 seed, so they are paying attention. What were we last year? 8 or 9 seed?
