what a great performance by the basketball team tonight. they withstood many ark. runs in order to keep the lead. the won despite lloreda not scoring over ten. very impressed and glad to see them come back from a loss to houston and a miserable performance against centenary. very excited about basketball. hoping to continue with the championships

I was very impressed also, Darrell Mitchell had his shots falling
tonight, Bass was also very good for a fresh.

    Brandon Bass=Monster, he hit a 3!

It was good to see that Bass and Mitchell picked up the slack
    since Jaime didn't score much.

A very Important sign, I sure was worried after the last 2 games
but they looked pretty sharp tonight.

Just maybe they were overlooking the last 2 games to start the
    SEC conference

The announcers were already talking Brandon Bass going early to the NBA.....that's how impressive this young man is.

I found it intresting that the Arkansas folks congradulated LSU on their national championship.

Brady replied with, this is real great and all but we didn't win it, we're the basketball team.

yea, what a great win. that is a hard place to play. we showed some balls down the stretch hitting free throws. its an amazing win considering jaime didnt score.

but being an eternal pessimist, i am concerned by the lack of offensive rebounds--we've got three guys that should be attacking the offensive glass. i think we should have given the ball to the post players more, because when we did it worked. jaime has really learned to pass back out. he was a black hole last year. look at the box score jaime had the most assists.

man, arkansas will be good again in a year or two. did anyone else notice how athletic some of the hogs were-- especially brewer and sullivan. i'm sure heath will be able to get a little more out of his players than nolan did the last several years

Go Tigers! it would be great to start off 2-0.

Since i caught most of the game on TV i noticed what i thought were a lot of non-calls on fouls. It seemed to me, keyword seemed, that it was more in favor of the Hogs. I saw a few plays, one especially with Lloreda, that should have been fouls but more went Ark. way, IMO. However, a win is a win so i'm not to pissed.

i agree, there should've been a break away or a technical foul
on that play were Mitchell almost got his shoulder dislocated.

I also saw quite a few plays and it was all Ark calls for awhile
but then again I guess thats what they call home cookin.

I played in a game like that once and a guy on our team pulled
a Bob Knight and threw a chair on the court.

I think those refs must be walmart employees
