    It looks like we could have really used him to backup Addai this year.

    Unfortunately, he got in to trouble with the university and was pretty much shown the door (and NOT forced out by the athletic department, or quit or anything like that).

    Good to see him back on track. I don't know the details of the "trouble" he was in at LSU, but I can only guess it was academic--something that simply could not be addressed "in-house" by Saban and the rest of the staff.

    What's wrong with out current backups? For that matter, what's wrong with the current running back situation?

    Nothing is wrong with Addai but we haven't had much production when he's not in the game. But Carey and Vincent should get plenty of chances to get on track these next two weeks.

    I see it more as a sign of just how good Addai has been this year and how little playing time the others have gotten because of it. Addai has been quietly leading the SEC in rushing.

    PS: Thanks for not taking offense to my question. I was curious what your thoughts were. The typical TF poster would have gotten defensive.
