    coincidentally, ALA is the group that banned most of these books in the first place. I find it funny that the article says:
    Banned Books Week (BBW) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read and the importance of the First Amendment.

    ALA | Banned Books Week

    Yet they ban books.

    Folks are unwise to consider freedom to do certain things with real freedom. But they do.

    "I'm an American. I live in a free country."
