What was the picture that a LSU fan made fun of georgia with something like: "we are LSU's Bitches" hmmm what was the final score to last years Georgia game?
haha. I think it's pretty funny. Let them enjoy it while it lasts, come Saturday all they will be saying is how overrated THEY were. I think it would look better if the wording were in purple though...
Agreed. Let them talk all they want. They'll feel that much stupider come Saturday. I want them to expect to win. Makes the letdown that much more difficult.
I would have to give the edge to LSU right now. Our offense is in more trouble than we thought and with LSU blitzing probably half the time, Brodie will probably be sacked 6 or 7 times. However, our defense is still the best in the nation. Bama has now given up 19 points in the last 5 games combined, 1 TD in the last 20 quarters, and surrendered a total of 103 yards vs. MSU (a bad team but 103 yards is still VERY few). Look at last year's Bama-LSU game. Bama had a halftime lead of 10-6 and the defense kept them in it. The offense didn't do anything in the second half though and so the D got tired and gave up points. And say what you want, but that no-call on pass interference completely changed the game and I had LSU fans telling me afterwards that we got screwed. Either way, the defense kept us in that game and while our offense has struggled lately, we still have the talent to make some plays. Instead of last year where we had Pennington at QB and true frosh Aaron Johns (awful) at RB, this year we have Brodie and Darby...and we're at home. That's why I see this game being very close to the end, it all depends on if Brodie and the O can get anything going. But to really expect LSU to put up 35 points on the road, in a hostile environment, against this Bama defense...you're crazy.
Here are some Bama fan posts from tidefans.com: A question about our game plan for the LSU game I don't know a great deal about the technical side of football so my question may sound stupid. But I seem to remember that the Bear's OL was usually undersized but made up lack of size by their blocking techniques. How Many "good" Teams Have We Really Beaten? Guess what? Yes, we are 9-0, but guess how many teams with winning records we have beaten? The answer might surprise you--only three Southern Miss-- 4-3 UF-- 7-2 South Carolina-- 6-3
