link Shula says Daniels out for season By David Wasson Executive Sports Editor August 04, 2003 University of Alabama linebacker Brooks Daniels has dropped out of his classes for the fall semester and will not play for the Crimson Tide this season, Coach Mike Shula said Monday........ this is a major blow to Bama's defense
Hoepfully his medical reason is anything too serious. It is always tough seeing a young person with a serious life threatening diesease.
If it's a medical problem I know all Tiger fans pray and hope for a speedy recovery. I Hope he's alright.
I am with Brett on this one, besides the Football "Casualty" I hope for his sake he gets back in school and gets the education he was given the opportunity to get.
Daniels may be back for the 2004 season. While it is never good to lose a player of Daniels caliber the LB position is one of the few places where we have some quality depth. Coach Shula has stated that Demeco Ryans will be penciled in at Daniels WLB position backed up by Juawn Garth.
According to your friends at Tide Talk, the outlook isn't as pretty a picture as you choose to paint it. http://www.tide-talk.com/forums/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=5122
Sleep on, brother. You'll be getting the chance to catch up on a lot of it this season. That or watch your beloved Tahd get creamed most every week.
