Is this has already been posted, please forgive me. Does anyone know what the chances are of the Bama game being a night game? I have a friend who is getting married in Baton Rouge that weekend. I only want to make the drive down if I can double dip on the wedding and an LSU game (the wedding is at noon).
My guess as of now would be another ESPN 2 night game at 7 or 8. It is a great week of football in the SEC that weekend. From ESPN: Saturday, November 11Time (ET)MatchupTBAGeorgia at #7 Auburn TBASouth Carolina at #9 Florida 1:00 PMVanderbilt at Kentucky 2:00 PM#8 Tennessee at #13 Arkansas 8:00 PMAlabama at #14 LSU My guess is that CBS picks up Tenn vs. Ark and FLA vs SC. One at 2:30 and other right after. Vandy vs. Kentucky is LF bound in the morning. Fla vs. SC on ESPN at night. It could all change these coming weeks but LSU vs Bama wont be a 2:30 CBS or early LF game. It might not be picked up at all if worst case scenario happens for bath teams. Hope this helped you a little bit.:dis:
I don't see what the problem is. If LSU plays during the day it will be a 2:30 kickoff at the earliest. The wedding is @ noon and presumably will last no more than one hour. An hour to go to reception, remain at reception and travel to the game. That even leaves you with a half hour to tailgate before the game. Problem solved, enjoy the game !
i agree, unless this is a first choice ESPN weekend. anyone know if ESPN or CBS has 1st choice the weekend in question?
Not sure but LSU-Bama was CBS last year and UGA-AU on espn. Granted LSU was #5 and Bama was #3. I don't think they'll chose LSU. They've already done 2 LSU games already with Tenn and Arky still up on CBS as well.
No way the Crimson Tide/LSU game is on CBS. Probably an ESPN or ESPN2 game. a 3 loss bama team and a 2 loss lsu team is totally different than last year's teams.
