I was glad for them last night but can't see them beating WV @ home.

I wouldn't be so sure. Rutgers D shut out the vaunted Petrino offense in the 2nd half and WV defense is suspect. Rutgers can play a ball control grind it our offense with their running game and keep White, Slaton, et al off the field. Don't doubt the Scarlet Knights.

PS: My boss is a Rutgers season ticket holder so I have to pull for them. Rutgers wins, he's happy. He's happy, I'm happy. :thumb:

I agree with SF. Don't be so quick to write Rutgers off. They appear to be this years Cinderalla team and Schiano appears to be a hell of a coach. It will be tough to beat WV on the road, but I wouldn't rule it out.

The Rutgers D has played like that all year. WV will have to play their best to win and will have to pass the ball effectively to negate the Rutgers blitz.

That was one helluva defensive performance in the 2nd half.

I agree a controlled running game and a great defense goes a long way.

It will be tough to duplicate that on the road, however. And the play of the QB is way too shaky.

WVU wins going away in the 4th.

I don't think WV is any better than Louisville.

I sure wouldn't bet any money, it's really just a gut feeling. Just like picking Rutgers to win last night -had a supper at a duck camp with some friends and I was getting laughed at during the beginning of the game- everything pointed to Louisville but I just had a feeling they'd pull it off. The only thing is they had given the 7 points and laid down some gogalya's with the bookie, mine was just the tiger forum picks. They really laughed when I told them there were no lines in our forum's picks. You know what they say about laughing last.

There's a part of me that would like to see Rutgers win- most people like to see a cinderella story. The only thing is, it would help our case if they lost.

Even if you're not for Rutgers, act like you're fired up! Keep your boss happy. :yelwink2:

As long as LSU wins out, who cares.

Assuming Slaton has feeling in both of his hands, this game goes to WV big in the second half. The guy is like Reggie Bush without the paycheck.

Rutgers made a believer out of me. I would never thought they could stop Louisville like they did. One hell of a game.
