Last year, Alabama was 6 - 2 and played us (number 1) to a near standoff. We were lucky to win that game. Alabama then went on to lose to La. Monroe, Miss. St. and Auburn. They did win their bowl game. This year, LSU was 6 - 2 and played Alabama (number 1) to an overtime loss. Alabama was lucky to win that game. Without a miracle, we would have lost to Troy (Alabama school), lose to Ole Miss, etc. See where I'm going? The good news is that Alabama went on to have (so far) an undefeated season. Kind of creepy, huh?
