I assure you that we are not nearly as horrible as many people are saying right now. We got hit by a buzz saw, so what, it happens. Georgia has had this game circled on the calendar for year now. Surprise, they whipped us. Our cornerbacks are not slow. So they got beat. That doesn't mean they are dogs rolling over. Greene made great throws, and if you don't know that, you don't know football. The bullrush, even without a blitz, was on our o-line the whole game -- Georgia was on a mission, destroy LSU. Our o-line will improve and do better the next game. Not everyone on our schedule has been waiting a year to beat the daylights out of us.

Florida will be tough. We may lose. But I'm telling you, we still have a good team working on being great. We already have great coaches. We did before the Georgia game and we still do.

Sure we got stuff to work on. But heck, we were 8-5 two years ago. Get a grip. I love my team and coaches and wouldn't trade them today for any other team in the country. This is LSU baby. Love it or leave it. This is still the greatest time in LSU history to be a football fan.

It's easy to jump on the band wagon when we win. But these guys need us when the going gets tough. And if any tiger football player is reading this, I say hold your head up high, go to practice and work on getting better. I love you even more now than before the Georgia game. One game don't make a season. Lighten up, have some fun, and get a few licks in for me and all the other fans who are still behind you 1000 percent.

Great things have happened and great things will happen again. Just shrug it off and move on. Thank god our coaches will.

    Goooooooooooooo Tiiiiiiiiiiiigers.

It's just one loss, even though it seemed like 6 losses.

Well that's the problem with having a NC team. Everyone has extremely high expectations. We will see lots of the bandwagon fans bitching and complaining. I will tell you right now that I want to see a Georgia NC team now. 2 SEC NCs in a row: who says the SEC isn't powerful?

I agree....GA take the NC....It's yours if you want it. You got the players and the coach to do it this year. Get it while it's hot.

I hope UGA wins the National Championship this year, they played some great ball today. It just bugs me when our team makes stupid mistakes like sloppy tackling or our DBs never looking back to make a play on the ball. We dont have chemistry or leadership on this team, and we need it for Florida.

It is a very nice post. BTW, D. Green was deadly accurate today.
