"Auburn University is committed to sportsmanship among its coaches, student-athletes, staff and fans. Sportsmanship has been defined as the conduct becoming to one participating in sport. In accordance with The Auburn Creed, Auburn University coaches, student-athletes, staff and fans believe sportsmanship is playing fairly, acting respectfully toward others and promoting the interests and good name of Auburn University on and off the field of play." Auburn Crap WTF, Auburn actually has a something about sportsmanship. Colud have fooled me.
you forgot to read the fine print after that, which says: except for when we play LSU. At this time it is ok to act like jackasses, light up cigars after winning on their home field, and dance all over their midfield logo before the game and get a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty before the first kick.
I can't believe you guys are still whining about those cigars. If we'd have known it would get under your skin so bad, we would have started that tradition years ago. I agree with you on the logo stomp and Duval being an idiot though.
It just goes to prove there is a pattern. If each of these incidents would have occurred against different teams, we would probably not really remember them. But they were all caused by ONE coach. We will rag on him as long as we play against him. If he moves on to coach at Weber State, we will harass him if they ever come to DV.
