i guess you never know every week is a different week. Auburn looks like a tired team, i can't believe we lost to Auburn. JR should have thrown that damn football away in stead of taking a sack on that last series. DAMN.

I bet that if we played them again, it would be a different story.

Good point Terry. Alabama will not be the same team that lost to Miss St, most likely. They will be working hard to show they are better than they played last week. LSU better be "up" for this game, ready to play, and go out and take care of business. Auburn has lost, that's good for us. We have a lot to play for, so we better be rar'in to play.

I can't wait to watch the game, it should be a good one.

Well there's much more to that loss than just JR's poor play.

The coaches deciding that Williams and Scott weren't ready for the big time as our feature running backs as well as not utilizing a very dangerous Trindon Holliday on trick plays had a lot to do with our inept offense in that game.

It's really a damn shame we lost that game. There was no excuse for it.

The refs could only help Auburn to a given point in this game.

Auburn committed at least 4 personal fouls that were totally overlooked by the refs.

Cox looked like he had the flu or something. The announcers kept saying his ankle sprain was worse than reported and that he couldn't get any velocity behind his throws because he kept throwing off of his back foot. That may be the case, but the Auburn defense sure didn't look very stout today.

    And...
LSU fans need to realize that a tipped ball right in front of a receiver does not negate a pass interference penalty called while the ball was in the air.
It was a catchable pass and the receiver was held back from getting to the ball first.

Auburn didn't beat LSU. The refs beat

    By the way....

Where is the Auburn dude who got on my case about saying that Auburn would probably lose 3 games this year and the SEC West would come down to the LSU - Arkansas game?

    And now the question is...

How does it feel to have to root for Phat Fil'er..up Phulmer? :hihi:

It wasn't that long ago where the Boot game actually had meaning... 2002...

We've won the previous games by a combined margin of 117-55 although it was FAR TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT last year. If we had dropped that one Auburn would have returned to the SECCG. So, in a sense, every SEC game had meaning for LSU last year. :D

Auburn hasn't been the same team since getting into what can only be described as a barroom brawl/deathmatch with LSU.

They really haven't been the same since. They just got beat up and haven't recovered.

    1 -- Teams evolve.

2 -- The officials didn't bring their "A" game today.
