Auburn Getting Blown Away!!!

    You guys got cursed by being on the cover of numerous sports publications! :)

    ...Can't recall the player's name, but on ESPN, they kept running the SAME clip, of this one Auburn O-lineman, saying, "I know I'm not supposed to say this, but they (USC) don't have anything on our defense...." and then they kept showing USC defensive highlights and after each one, they ran that clippet over and over, and the reporter kept saying, "What was that?" ....

    ...OUCH! ....LIke I said, I don't know who that lineman was, but that's embarrassing! I think coaches and players should give him a swift kick in the arse for saying stuff like that! --Prime example of letting "the hype" get to ones head.:dis:

    We really don't know what we've got here yet, Chuck. Monroe is the weakest team in Division I, after all. Don't let the 49 points fool you, LSU was not on the top of its game either and play was really sloppy in the first half. Not just from the rain.

    If we had opened against a top 25 opponent ( like at VT last year) we could have been spanked (like at VT last year). I think this LSU team will be strong, but its starting off slowly again and I'm glad our first game was winable under any conditions. Starting a season with a loss puts a real damper on the morale of the team.

    While I won't argue about our opponent, how can you possibly say "I think this LSU team will be strong, but its starting off slowly again" 49 points..playing with 3rd Stringers. What would have been a Fast Start? 85 Points? C'mon.
