What do you get when you cross an Aubie, a computer, and plenty of free time? (besides a rash) a bunch of BS. I read this over on an Auburn board. It is funny how much stuff they make up just to make us look bad. They actually believe this is real.

After the fire involving the Tigertail Van at LSU in 2001, I was promised a secure parking location for the van this Sat. I contacted the LSU Campus Police several weeks ago, seeking verification of that assurance. I have not received an official letter from the LSU campus police.

However, in a conversation with the LSU campus police, it was indicated that the promise of the secure parking location seemed unlikely. I was also encouraged to make arrangements to park somewhere other than the LSU campus. It was also suggested that I not travel on the LSU campus at all this weekend. The safety of the vehicle, myself or those traveling with me could not be guaranteed by the LSU Campus Police.

It was also strongly implied, that Auburn Fan should also avoid parking on the LSU campus, especially along River Road and Nicholson drive. Auburn fans should remove all items that indicate the vehicle belongs to an Auburn fan.

Let pass along some recommendations made by a friend in the LSU campus police(we became friends over the van fire in 2001). He says, We are their biggest rival as a result of the Earthquake game, the endzone whistle, the 99 cigars game and the 2001 game. Younger LSU fans, students and some of the locals are looking to “get even” for 2002. Some your LSU fans are determine to harass Auburn fans as much as possible, looking for Auburn fans to over-react and cause a melee.

Some of the recommendations he suggested. Ride the shuttles from the remote locations. You can find them on the LSU game day site. Do not park close to the stadium, on River Road or Nicholson. That’s where most the rowdy fans hang out.
Take all your magnets off the car. Plan your walking route to the stadium. Take the shortest but brightest lighted route. Take as little stuff as possible, no purses or bags.
Put your wallet in your front pocket. Travel with large groups of Auburn People.
Travel with friendly LSU fans. There are some. Try to avoid direct conflict. Attemp to ignore comments and insults.

There will be LSU campus police on bikes. Report any problem to them. If you have an
Encounter, try and remember some identification about the person who harasses you.
In all the LSU police are OK. They can’t do much because the LSU administration won’t let them arrest and prosecute, but maybe they can scare some thugs. Most of the police on the bikes will help you. Ask them to escort you back to your vehicle.

Most of the harassment will occur right outside the stadium, in the nearby parking lots or as you leave the campus in your vehicle. Expect items to be thrown at you and your vehicle. Expect every insult known to man. Expect to be pushed, poked, gouged, pulled, spit upon, beverage poured on you. If you are a female or if there is a female in the group expect the worst. I suggest you gentlemen surround your women.

The best thing that can happen for us Auburn fans, is for the AU Tigers to get a big lead in the first half, put the game away in the 3rd quarter. Most the thugs will go home or pass out somewhere. However, expect more physical damage to your vehicle when we win.

    Funny Stuff!! LOL

FEAR, FEAR, FEAR. They know they got it coming for some of the mistreatment of LSU fans at AU last year. Payback is always a Bitch!

Would anyone care if Auburn fans didn't show up? As much bitching as they do they act like it would be hurting us if they didn't show.

Most of this bitching and moaning is from the computer nerds on the Auburn boards with an average age of 19. The veteran Auburn fans have been coming for years and are not worried about anything. I've interacted with many of them and they are just like us . . . but with ugly-ass orange shirts.

What is this about LSU Police not being able to arrest because of the administration......

Last year I saw police hancuff an LSU fan and take him off when I was going to get a drink in the South endzone. This guy was drunk and was harrassing opposing fans in the concessions line in front of him...he deserved to be removed from the stadium.

at the Florida game this year an LSU fan was escorted out of the stadium by 4 Sherrifs and the game marshall---I still dont know whatt he did other than stand too long that he got on the nerves of the people sitting behind him. He was not drunk, he did not curse at anyone that I heard, he was very polite to the game marshall when he came over the first time....only to leave and come back with half the sherrif's dept. From what I saw he did not deserve to be removed from the game and I sat three rows in front of him.

Well, . . . it's bullshit. LSU police, BR police and EBR deputies make arrests every gameday.

This will be my second trip to BR. My first went fine I did not see anything that you do not see anywhere else. I was just wondering what LSU fans had to pay Auburn back from last year? I have been attending Auburn games my whole life and never witnessed any physical mistreatment of other fans.
