Well not exactly but as everybody knows it is LSU-Auburn week. I had hoped both of us would come into this game ranked high and clicking on all cylinders. Unfortunately, we are stinking up the place right now. I've been watching Auburn football for a long time and Saturday was the worst offensive performance I've ever seen. Fortunately our defense has played well or we would be 0-3. Maybe we can play better this week and it will be a good game. But if somebody don't kick some butts this week it could be nasty. Hope everybody coming up has a safe trip.

Yea, but your bullpen did a hell of a job sealing that 3-2 W.

Hope you're right, but our passing game isn't exactly lighting up college football right now. AU's D is strong as usual and if they put 9 in the box and force us to pass, it may lead to some turnovers for them. As for the new O, I think it will be formidable in time. Just look at Michigan. They're going through the exact same thing with a similar version of that offense.

EDIT: (I just realized I was defending the Barners and I have no idea why. I'm scared.:eek: )

If our offense can put 10 on the board that should be enough for us to win the way their offense has been... Plus they're having their own turnover issues.

I'm not sure that the OC will be around long enough to see that come to fruitition... we'll see. Either way, "in time" is not next week so no bother worrying about it.

I don't know if ears is going to be patient enough to acquire all the right personnel to run the offense right. The qb position isn't the missing piece to the puzzle. This was a drastic change in philosophy that shocked me because as mentioned above you've got to have the right kind of guys to run this type of offense. It's like taking a four wheel drive and trying to drive it like a race car. It wasn't designed to do that. The personnel da barn has right now isn't design to run franklin's offense.

If they put nine in the box, I like our guys' chances of completing a short pass for a long gain vs. two defenders.

Thanks for your expert analysis. Did you get that straight from Nicky. You better worry about pigs rather than tigers. Better yet, start worrying about seven in a row.
