Agreed...we should have had a touchdown in the first half if it wasn't for the un-called interference in the endzone.
That was a horrible game of officiating...... Started with the completion with fumble out of bounds that on review was ruled incomplete....interference in the end zone in first half that was never called but was clearly interference....and ended with the interference that was called in the fourth quarter but then REVERSED.....there was clear contact before the ball was tipped. Don't know why it is but officiating always leaves much to be desired. :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire
Definitely some bad calls. It really shows in these close games how officiating can be SO important. If we had put up 30 points then who cares!?!?! On to next week. :geauxtige
We defintitely had some calls go against us but Auburn played a good game. Irons finishes his runs falling forward, JV was moving backwards at the ends of his touches and looked like he was anticipating the hit- slow stating too. The calls hurt but Auburn beat us, they kept the intensity for all 4Q. It was a valiant effort and we never quit. I was very surprised when JR didn't throw the ball away on the last drive instead of getting tackled and allowing the clock to run, and he had some passes off the mark but overall looked good to me.
