the hits keep coming at our favorite university to hate. http://auburn.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=277058 all you baurners hail the REAL TIGERS ldskule: :tigerhead ldskule: :tigerhead :lsug:
LOL, It had to happen sooner or later.... Now Tubby must be filling better with no one looking over his shoulder
This had actually been expected by most of the Auburn family and the media for quite some time now, so I'm not sure how much of a "hit" it was at this point. Attorney's for the two sides reached a settlement and most would characterize it as an amicable parting. Housel served AU admirably for many years until a couple of serious incidents late in his career. It's too bad, David is one of the nice guys who got collected-up in the superspeedway of athletics that is the SEC. But he had to go, and I'm certain most LSU fans would've done the same thing had such an incident occurred there. It likely won't matter. CTT must win 9 or better to quiet those that want his head - that is, those within the Auburn family.
Sucks for you guys that you can't get rid of the guy that is your real problem, i.e., that idiot Lowder. You're stuck with that meathead. I'm glad we don't have an albatross like that guy hanging around our necks.
also, forgot to mention....it looks like basketball coach Cliff Ellis is on the way out too. News at eleven......
Funny.. I talked with one of the assistant coaches of the Auburn gymnastics team at the local Jason's Deli here when they were in town to compete with LSU, and I asked them about the AD/Tubberville situation. She claimed that everything was rosy since the apology...looks like a crock!! They were pretty nice considering which university they came from; they let me order ahead of their 25 soup and salads.
Didnt Housel make some bizarre statement before the Alabama-Auburn game comparing it to war? What a freakin joke, that sad sack needed to go.
