Auburn let Tennessee hang around ... Had a chance to blow them out and make a case for their NC ... but no ... true to form, they blew it :hihi: ... No NC for AU ... still waiting ... cue picture ... Poor Big Ears ... my heart bleeds for him

USC won a close one and OU's rolling big over Colo

Miami will be an OU and USC affair

and Texas gets a reprieve from Auburn and a critical drive putting AU up top 38-28

LSU vs Iowa ... gonna be a good one

AU played a much tougher team than either OU or USC tonight. AU blows out UCLA and Colorado. AU played a much tougher schedule than OU and USC I think they deserve a little credit

No doubt, its a shame the Big 12 is down this year.
What an embarrassing championship game, it seems like the pac 10 and the
Big 12 could be one of the same this year.
There is OU and then there is the rest of the pack just like Usuck then everyone else. :dis:

It would ... if not for the following

Unfortunately ... it counts for nothing ... Kudos to CTT

Ifffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ... CTT could keep a civil tongue in his head and dish out the usual platitudes after every game ... like coaches with class do ... instead of dishing out his kiddie brand of ..

Nya,nya, nya, nya, nya, nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ... and carping criticisms of other teams and coaches that entertain nobody but pure bred trailer-trash.

Or even better ... holding "smokers" at opposing teams 50 yard lines ... with even the most stoic and usually unflappable media robots shaking their heads in disgust and penning articles about AU's "poor sportsmanship" and negative articles on this idiot's behavior

His peers would respect him and he'd have the coaches poll ... like Saban

The media would respect him and he'd have the AP poll ... like Saban

It's simple ... if LSU were in AU's shoes and unbeaten ... LSU and Saban would get a shot at the dance ... the media loves Saban and hangs on his every word ... Saban oozes sportsmanship and class ... and cuts through the BS and tells it like it is ...

THEY LOVE SABAN BECAUSE SABAN HAS ENOUGH CLASS TO PUT EVERYONE IN A WIN-WIN AND EVEN MAKE A LOSER FEEL GOOD :thumb: :thumb:

Proof of what I say ... cue photo of Saban holding up the crystal

Tooooooober-VILE oozes pure H2S (hydrogen sulphide) redneck crude and a villain's childishness ... TALKS FLUENT TRAILER-TRASH AND IS A DISGRACE TO THE SEC ... AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP

EVERYBODY KNOWS IT AND EVERYBODY REVILES HIM ... and AU

AU has reaped what they have sewn ... AU will never win a NC with Tubby at the helm ... NEVER

Unfortunately for Aubarn, they have only played 4 teams with winning records: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee.... 5 if you count Tn twice...

Of course four of those five games are against top 15 teams though, three against top ten teams.

Overall strength of schedule is still really important.

Ramah - It is funny that your coach does not feel the same way about CTT that you do. There was an article in the paper about Saban saying that Auburn was his #1 team, and the article acutally stated that few people knew it, but Saban and Tubberville are BEST FRIENDS...

I personally think it was pretty classy that Auburn did not score that last TD as they could have. Bob Stoopid would have done it...

Saban and Tuberville are not actually best friends, but they have mutual respect for each other and also share the same agent...I think Auburn should be #1, OU #2, and USC #3 and I'm sorry it didn't work out for you guys this year.
