I just drove out to LSU and saw cars and RV's already lining up for the big game. I have never seen people parking on the side of the road on a Thursday evening. I cannot wait until Saturday....the excitement around campus is going to be crazy. This just shows what LSU football is really about. GEAUX TIGERS!!! LSU 27 UGA 21
I'm jealous just at the fact that you were able to drive by Tiger Stadium! ...when I left Louisiana, I didn't think I would miss it much--but then came football season...
IT is upsetting that I cant make the games, some I cant even get on tv. It would be nice to make a game or two
I just got back from campus (got off of work) and I did notice an unsual amount of people there for that time. I didn't go by the stadium though but I'll be down there all night tomorrow night. Me and a buddy are planning a night of partying with all the folks down there. I can't wait.
You wont be the only one out there...we're partying all night and into the night Saturday after we beat UGA!!!!
I feel for you out-of-towners. I just moved into a new house this month. My previous address was less than a mile from Tiger Stadium. It's majestic beauty would greet me every morning and comfort me every night. Now I live way out there in the Sherwood Forest Blvd. area... Almost 15 miles away from Tiger Stadium. I miss it bad. I can only imagine how you must feel. GEAUX TIGERS | BEAT GEOREGIA
Try ordering College Football game ticket--that's what I did. No, it won't get you ever LSU game, but in strictly regional telecasts, it increases your chances.
I just walked past the stadium (I park in that lot every day). Noticed the Gameday stage is set up already. It's on the left side ramp of the PMAC, right where it levels out. Looks like their backs will be to the stadium. There's also a mess of trucks in the same area. The satellite dish is all set up, and the production trucks are in place under the stadium where they usually are. Noticed all the stadium lights were being tested last night (can see the stadium from my living room window). Everything is in place!!!! I usually notice the cars parking on Thrusday night (that purple/gold gremlin), but not this many. Its funny to watch the campus around 4 pm since you see trailers cam campers circling campus waiting until 4:30 when they can park on campus.
