1. The defense today didn't make me exactly impressed with Aranda. Did we even blitz once? There was a damn-near non-existent pass rush.

  2. They were great in comparison to Les miles offense. scored the same as the offense as well.

  3. The defense was on the field for just shy of 22 minutes of the first half, they also scored the first touchdown. Don't want to throw stones, but Cameron didn't help the defense at all. Can we say a reason why Chavis left? IDK
  4. Good point, true. But I thought we pretty much sucked in every aspect of the game.

  5. The defense played pretty well, especially in the second half. They should be really good once they get comfortable in the new system.

I'm starting to think we should just use Fournette in the wildcat on every play. Might as well have the extra blocker.
  6. I do agree I didn't see anything close to a dominant defense, but they held it together nicely to gave us every chance to win

  7. Sort of...Wisconsin inflicted more damage to themselves a couple of times in the first half inside our territory. They should certainly been ahead of us more than 6-0 at the half.

The defense did step up better after the first possession of the 2nd half. Still, we were missing tackles left and right, with Wisconsin often gaining more than they should have. Valentine certainly didn't impress me much, that's for sure.

  8. Herman would easily be my first choice. He was my first choice last year. He has the moxy and swagger to go up against Saban. He will bring back the attitude of expecting to win. LSU has lost all confidence and focus.

I agree, I was not impressed with the D. They played hard but missed far too many tackles. The DL didn't get enough consistent penetration. The LB's can't cover. Once again the TE kills LSU.

  9. The D was on the field for just shy of 22 minutes in the first half. Granted, tackling left a bit to be desired, but for the most part they had no time to regroup. Cameron (Miles) is the one to blame here. The D did score the first TD of the season and set up the second. There are some issues, but not as many as on the offense.

  10. I get that. I do think the D will be sufficient enough. That said, they were far from dominant long before being on the field too long. Many UW drives were stalled because of drops or bad passes. Aranda made some solid adjustments but still, UW moved the ball too well on us.
