Check out the link. CFN has taken notice of out tigers for quite some time now. They also have nice commentary included in their rankings. http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2003/Rankings/CFN_Rankings.htm For the others to give us our due it will take one more win!! Geaux Tigers. :geaux:
Four SEC teams in their top 10 with Florida at #14 and Arkansas at #21. The Tigers have truly taken it to the next level to be able to win the SEC and to dominate most SEC opponents while they did it. Look at their comments about LSU and Oklahoma. The Sugar Bowl will be every bit as great a game as last year's Miami-Ohio State NCCG unless LSU turns out to be even better than we think they are and beats the crap out of OU 1. LSU 12-1 Why LSU should be ranked lower: The only reason is if you believe the USC offense would find a way to get past the Tiger D. LSU’s dominating win over Georgia, which was starting to play like the Georgia of old, showed just how strong this LSU team really is. Just when the Dawgs got close, the Tiger offense rolled at will on the great defense. This turned out to be the best team in the SEC by far, which makes it the best team in America. Outside of field goal kicking, there’s no weakness. 5. Oklahoma 12-1 Why Oklahoma should be ranked higher: Are you going to pick against the Sooners? This is still an amazing team that still might be the best in America. If you don’t believe that conference championship games should mean all that much, then the loss to Kansas State shouldn’t count more than regular season losses. Why Oklahoma should be ranked lower: It can’t be. Fifth is way too low as is and this still might be the number one team in the country.
