Anybody think the turf in the Georgia Dome will help LSU? As far as I can tell players seem to gain a half a step in quickness on the astroturf. If that is true does it favor LSU?....I would think Skyler Green should be pretty tough to hit during kick returns not to mention the speed the "other" two wide outs have in the normal offensive sets. Obviously the defensive backs can recover better but I still get the impression that LSU's team speed overall is better than Georgia's. Any thoughts?

Since they have installed FieldTurf, I don't think that it will be that much of a difference.

I hear that Georgia has real good speed on defense.

But it's all relative. It's not like their team will gain a half step and LSU won't. It's a wash.
