As usual the media is starting the LSU will lose predictions

As all year (Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Ole Miss)

Most people are predicting LSU to lose.. We already know Trev Albert and his gang said LSU will lose this game...

I read last night several writers now in our own paper they printed an AP article of a writer predicting our demise.

I hope the LSU team realizes everyone is rooting against them.

I'm another who is going to be negative. With the revenge factor Georgia will be sky high. The only way LSU will overcome will be for Georgia to make mistakes and we keep them from the big play. Georgia has our number and the last game proved it. Now before you hate me I thought this before the first Georgia game, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss and Arkansas. So I'm 1-4.....here's to making it 1-5.

 

Sporting News picks LSU to win 20-17. That is the only prediction I have read so far.

Keep in mind Trev Alberts has hated LSU all year. He said Georgia was the SEC's best, then Auburn, then Ole Miss, then Florida. He has never given LSU their do, and he will not this weekend if we win.

Mark May is like a yo yo...sometimes he likes LSU, others he does not. Bring up USC and LSU becomes the equivilent of Baylor in his eyes (They would lose to USC by 3 tds). You can throw Herbstreit on the list of haters as well...he thinks Georgia is the best team in the SEC.

The only one who has liked LSU almost all season is the crazy coach Lee Corso. He has been high on LSU for 2 years now (picked us as preseason NC team last year).

Bottom line is the media loves USC right now, and will say many a thing to belittle LSU so they get the Sugar Bowl matchup they want. If USC loses this weekend, I am willing to bet Trev, Mark, and Kirk will STILL say they should be playing OU, not LSU.

Crazy ass world it is.

wow...i do not know what is worse, that article and its blatent mentioning of wanting USC in the championship game, or the picture of the writer at the top.

Like I said earlier..the media wants USC/OU...this is another example. Hopefully the Dawgs are reading this and believing they will win no matter what...we will see come Saturday night.

 

I don't see why people think we're going to lose. Our team has improved so much since the last time we played Georgia that it's not even funny. Hell, Mauck has thrown 27 touchdowns and our defense has only given up 9 or 10. I do like the mindset it puts the players in, though.

 

I'm starting to wonder if it's not so much that the media loves USC, as it is that they're afraid of somebody (LSU) who might give
Oklahoma (their anointed pick all season to win the NC) a real
game, and thus make them look bad. So Cal doesn't match up
w/ Oklahoma nearly as well as the Tigers do.

 

It'll be that much more spectacular with a 42-10 LSU win
