The same thing happened in last year's Florida game. He will get straightened out.

That guy has been pretty solid his entire career at UGA. His stats are very impressive.

I have a feeling he just had a bad day and the pressure and crowd got to him just a hair. He appeared to be trying to hard on the last two. He did not lose that game for UGA, lets face it had they hit those, LSU would have changed their game to reflect the different score etc etc etc etc who knows what would happen.

    He will bounce back.

He might have had a bad day, but this is one of the reasons I have a bad taste in my mouth from the game and the national media's view of LSU win.

Of all the excuses the national media has given GA, this one cuts the deepest. Before the game this kicker was supposed to be the difference between the two teams. I must have read 5 articles before the game, saying he was going to be the reason GA won. Well, both Greene and Bennet choked, the two steadiest players on the GA roster.

But we didn't beat GA, they beat themselves.

Bring on MSU, maybe we can be lucky enough for them to beat themselves as well.

I dont get so upset about what the National Media says anymore. Face it they are all east and left coast guys anyway...

We got the W, they can play the what if's I dont think Greene choked I think our D kick some serious ass.

All that matters are what our players, coaches and fans think. The W's will come. Let them blast us...

They are like Auburn fans making up stories about us beating their elderly, setting fire to their baby carriages and pouring Anthrax into their drinks.
Its all bogus crap to cover up a real issue.

    Piss on them.

I agree with Texas. I don't see how in god's name you could say Greene choked. He played a fantastic game against a good defense.

I should try and explain why I said choked, I probably could have used a better word.

Greene did not have a typical day. He had passes blocked, dropped, and intercepted. He wasn't poised in the pocket, and toward the end of the game (before the 93 yard TD screen) he didn't look nearly as confident on the field. Greene didn't dominate the LSU defense, like it was predicted he would, and so I didn't use the right word to describe what happened. I've posted before that the LSU D caused Greene to have the day he had. Using "choked" makes it seem like Greene should have won that game for GA but choked and didn't.

I meant it in the sense that Greene was one of the most highly hyped players on the field Sat., and didn't get the job done. Greene is considered one of, if not the best QB in the SEC (if not the country). Yet, Mauck had the best QB rating in the SEC going into the game. This game was made for Greene to win it, bringing GA back in a hostile place. I must of read 100 x's before the game that Greene doesn't lose in another team's stadium, that he has ice water in his viens. Well, Mauck made the game winning TD pass, and Greene made the game losing INT.

I'm not trying to bash GA or anything, but I have watched that game's replay a few times now (like I'm sure most of us here have) and I see the better team winning and it see it happening b/c of LSU great D . . . not Georgia giving us the game. Choked might have been a bad way to express all of that. But enough of this rant . . . onto Miss St.

All kickers go thriugh slumps like that. Since Bennett has had so much success in th past I'm sure he won't lose all confidence in himself. Remember Wade Richey? LSU signed him as the best kicker in Louisiana in high school and he was terrible at LSU but the 49's sent him to a psychologist and he ended up having a couple of good years in th pros. Why didn't DiNardo think of that?

    Ryan Gaudet

Did yall notice how they discribed Gaudet's kick you would have thought he hit some terrible looking line drive kick that was lucky to get through. I think he was maxing his range but the kick was very good.

    Screw them

Something is wrong when fans need the media's approval to feel good about what LSU is doing this year. Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the game, even the talking heads!

We are 4-0 and ranked #7 in the country ... that's all I need to know!
