Kinda like Miles said, I don't think we're there yet. Let OU keep that monkey on their back, it doesn't really matter at this point anyway. They couldn't run the ball on us, but they exposed our passing defense pretty bad.
I don't want it, either. We don't need the target on our back. I think every one of us could make a legit case why we should be #1, but what difference does it make? It doesn't. To us, this team is easily #1. It always is, so we are good. As long as we are #1 or #2 in the final BCS poll of the regular season, then we are good to go.

Well, I'm not dead-set against it. In fact, it'd be nice to have. But I like where we are. I like our football doing the talking on the field. In the past, when we pull in #1, it inevitably draws more attention to us, and then the ****-talkers show up. I kind of like not having them around.
I can deal with LSU being #1 but we play the War Eagles - Gators - Bama - Hogs It will take care of it's self
Should also put into perspective to those whiners that want 600-yard offensive production from us every week exactly how difficult a schedule we've had to start the season. Our guys have passed probably the hardest test to start a season by ANY team the past 20 years.
