Don't let it bother you. The teams can't hire him if he doesn't want the job. I did see that and they said that the Giants and Bears want Saban, so the Falcons are trying to get a head start. I think it's kinda humorous that three NFL teams are falling all over themselves to get a chance at our head coach.
This kinda explains the sudden "interest" by the administration in redoing his contract. They said they had discussed it earlier in the season, but they made a point of publicly announcing it now. I think this was to head-off too many rumors that could hurt recruiting. This has become an annual media event.
Yeah. You would think by now they would have learned, that Saban isn't ready to leave yet. Yet, every year we hear this. I'm sure one day he'll want to go to the NFL and try his hand, but I think that year's a few more seasons away.
