They didn't go into great detail. Just that they feel Saban is the best college canidate to do well in the pros. They didn't say he would go pro (or give any time frame), but that when he does, Saban will be able to write his own ticket.
I be glad after the Sugar Bowl when he signs his new contract and puts all the NFL rumors to rest once and for all.
They said he could be the first $ 6 million NFL head football coach....that's a lot of duckies to say goodbye to. But he will stay at LSU.
The point they were trying to get across (I should have put this in my earlier post) is that there might be 10 HC spots available after he year is done. And that Saban is the best quailified college coach to move up. One guy said that Pete was a better coach, b/c he had been a HC in the NFL before. They didn't say Saban would leave, but that he would command a lot of money when he did go pro.
