All of the Propositions went down. The labor unions spent enormous amounts of money to make sure they can spend union money on political causes. No notification to parents for abortion. No to teacher tenure from 2 to 5 years. No to improved drug prescription costs for elderly. Arnold has made his share of mistakes but it is impossible to get anything done in this state. I have not heard a fair balanced news cast in the 4 years i have been here. 20 minutes in every news cast is how does this story effect the gays and if it does is it negative or positive. The bay area is more than the Gays issues but it is all you hear about thanks to the ( I think gay ) mayor. As a conservative Republican i am so much in the minority here in the bay area i dont even bother telling these people how wrong they are anymore. And yet they just dont understand why the rest of the country thinks they are fruits and nuts.
