Arizona State-LSU in 2005

It looks like it is a strong possibility Arizona State will be coming to Death Valley in 2005 to fill in the 7th home game. It would probably be the first game of the season and the the first game in Tiger Stadium with the new West Upper Deck. In return we will go to Arizona State at a later date.

Hopefully by then they will have their football program turned around because I want our schedules to solid from here on out.

Yeah. I think Arizona State is a good team to schedule. The problem is you can never tell when they are going to be a decent team.

 

Just look at what Arizona has done to us this year. And I thought WE were the ones who mugged them on the field--but we're getting bitten for it now.

 

Ya, is there a specific reason that LSU keeps going after the Arizona teams? Are they cheap?

 

Id say west coast exposure. It helps with recruiting. Now, why Arizona schools over the others of the Pac-10, I dunno.

we've already had basketball and baseball games and series scheduled with both of the Arizona teams in the past, so I think they decided, why not add football to the mix? Besides, tempe isn't all that far from Las Vegas or Laughlin, NV - lots of Tiger fans would travel...
