If ASU wins this game and Oregon plays an undefeated ASU team and beats them, then we're looking at Oregon jumping LSU in the BCS or coming really really close to doing so. The media will go nuts over Oregon if they beat an undefeated ASU team. ASU has no chance at winning out. The problem is Oregon winning next week and the media ejaculating all over themselves because of it. Believe me, they will all say Oregon deserves to be ahead of LSU in the human polls and in the BCS. This game is bigger than big for LSU. Look for Oregon to surpass both OU and LSU in the Coaches poll tomorrow. Also suspect they will jump OU for 4th in the Harris as well. LSU playing Ole Miss and LaTech is going to potentially kill our SOS. Of course, the SEC CG might end up being the savior when its all said and done. I just wish someone from the East would take charge and win out so we can play a top 10 team (e.g., Georgia). If Georgia wins out, they should be positioned around 6th or 7th. Of course, Tennessee now needs to lose one more. I am sure they will. They are way too inconsistent to win out.
Kirk Herbstreit has LSU at 2 in his top ten. I believe there are a lot of like minded peeps out there.
Well, if Ohio State and Boston College win out, we might not have a shot at the championship anyway. Our overtime loss was big.
This gets confusing if ASU wins.... Oregon plays ASU next week...who would we pull for in that game? ASU play USC two weeks later and Oregon plays virtually nobody.
Everyone remember the lovefest for USC at seasons start, then it was Cal 3 short weeks ago, now its Oregon, and add to the mix ASU if they win this game. I am telling you, this aint good. It just sets Oregon up nice and pretty if they can win next weekend.
