to take Troy St. spot and we will pick up a game to be played in TS that will be determined soon. Next years schedule is a good one. For more info go to lsusports.net
We learned our Lesson. Virginia Tech went against their word and scheduled a game before the LSU game to tune up for us. It made a world of difference. I have a feeling that is going to be a patsy to tune up for the Pac-10 Arizona. Good call, I bet if we were to play Virginia Tech now, things might be a bit different. Geaux Tigers
Any chance we could renew old rivalries with this August 30th, 2003 open date? My preference is either Tulane or Texas A&M. It may be tough to make it fit though. We may have to settle for a patsy, maybe another in-state opponent (Louisiana Tech is already on the schedule for 2003. Could it be ULL again or ULM?) I just hope to the good Lord we don't have to play a Division 1-AA team. It would be a travesty if we finish the season undefeated and get screwed out of the Sugar Bowl NC game because of a weak schedule.
We are in the SEC. We will never have a weak schedule. No other conference has to play the teams all of us do. Geaux Tigers
I think we learned our lesson with the Va Tech game this year. Troy St won't be replaced by any of the LA teams because we have a rotation going. I would figure it would be a Conference USA or Sun Belt team.
