Was wondering if anyone else out there was more excited "possibly" playing Michigan in the Rose Bowl than being in the SECCG with a chance at the crown and going to the Sugar Bowl? As great as it would be to have won the West and have another shot at UF for the SECC, and Sugar Bowl berth......I can't help but be more excited about our current situation.
I agree, all of a sudden the SECCG has taken a back seat to our status. LSU is getting more media coverage with the Rose Bowl than Ark/Fla. are in the SECCG. As dissapointed as I was, I still know LSU is the best team in the SEC even though "Technically" the history books won't show that. :thumb:
This is just terrible! We only have 2 back to back 10 win seasons. We are only going to the Rose Bowl vs. Michigan! Somebody has to pay! Fire Les Miles NOW! We could probably get that Arizona coach if we act now. Oh,what will we do?
I'm thinking all the bowls that passed us over and forced us into the Peach last year are eating their hearts out. Hope we never have togo to the Capital One Bowl ever...
I'm super excited to play in the Rose against either Michigan or USC, but I would prefer to be SEC champs over any bowl.
we have 1 back to back 10 win seasons. yes im definitely more excited to finally play a big 10 team especially in pasadena. winning the conference would have been nice but when we end up being the highest ranked SEC team when its all said and done, it will be just as sweet. the only good thing about not winning the sec is a couple less rings for sale on ebay I assume and less chance to have suspended players for the bowl.
Would there be any historical significance if LSU beats Michigan at the Rose Bowl? It is weird how the SECCG got shuffled to the side. Anyway, I plan to watch it. I am guessing that Florida will be exposed! I still have a bad taste with the vision of that ugly jump pass from Tebow. ugh.
