Archer Retools Secondary (UKentucky) LOL...one of the reasons why I think we've been sprinkled with our fair share of pixie dust this season is, at crucial times the past month or so and in the couple of weeks to come, guys with LSU or New Orleans connections have or will play major rolls in impacting LSU's path to the Sugar Bowl. Ronnie Zook gave Jawga it's second loss and can help us by helping themselves to a win over Fla. St this weekend. If Mike Riley can get his erratic QB to settle down a bit and his stud RB time to run, the Beavers might pull the shocker in Los Angeles next week. Surely you all remember THIS guy, the one tasked with slowing down Casey Clausen this weekend: http://www.kentucky.com/mld/heraldleader/sports/7324653.htm
Looks like someone lit a fire under Mike's butt. Check out this UK-Georgia post-game quote: ''I'm sure Tennessee is going to come in and think we're not worth a (expletive), but we'll show up and we'll see what happens,'' Kentucky defensive coordinator Mike Archer told reporters following the Wildcats' 30-10 loss to Georgia last Saturday. ''I thought we could beat Georgia, even though we didn't, and I think we can beat Tennessee, too.''
If Georgia would have beaten FLA, they would be ahead of LSU, and USC in the BCS right now ... but ... If we were to beat them in the seccg in this case, we would not need KY to beat Tenn because we would retain the quality win and jump everyone in the bcs at the same time. because we would not knock GA out of the top ten.
