AP loses all credibility when one voter votes LSU #3!!!

    Who in the hell is the one voter in the AP that voted LSU #3???? It is further evidence that the BCS was needed to rid the system of human bias. The AP has become a joke and should be removed completely from the BCS formula!!!:cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

    don't worry

    hey, i'm reading all of hte great articles and I'm celebrating LSU has national champs..i knew after the rose bowl that if we just wait a few days, ABC and everyone else will realize how tense and how important the sugar bowl was..it was a true title game..we are national champs..lets enjoy it!

    Nevermind...I figured it out by adding up the votes. It is figured by giving 25 pts for a 1st place vote, 24 pts for 2nd, 23 for third, and so on, right?

    even if they voted USC #1, who would have they voted 2?

    Thats the way I understand it. It just doesn't make sense how someone could vote them 3rd. Just goes to show how the BCS is the real poll. Anyone arguing that the AP is a legitimate poll just lost all ability to argue their point, the AP is a total sham!!!!

    Your right. If you do the math, 17 #1 votes (17 * 25 = 425) plus 48 #2 votes (48 * 24 = 1,152) totals 1,577. According to the paper, we got 1,576 points so someone voted us # 3! This is absolutely ridiculous! Again showing why the human polls alone are a joke!

    Who cares about the AP anyway? They had their fun this year, but we're still the National Champions! THE ONE AND ONLY!

    You can calculate it out and see LSU doesn't have enough points for it to be all 1st and 2nd place votes.
