I know that with all the hype surrounding the NC game, nobody's really concentrating on Smoke's 2004 edition yet, but this is
usually the time pre-season rankings start to come out. Has anybody heard anything yet? With so many starters and so much
quality pitching coming back from last year's CWS team, I would have to expect at least a top 3 ranking.

Think how awesome it would be to bring home NCs from New Orleans and Omaha within a 7 month span. I'm actually counting on it. It might light a fire under John Brady, as well.

It is totally possible that we might win NCs in both baseball and football, have a top 25 team in both mens and womens basketball. The gymnasts are ranked 10th in the preseason poll and the softball team should be stellar as usual. A great year for LSU Tigers!!!!

I haven't heard anything, but they should be coming out soon- we should be at least in the top 5 if not higher IMO. I'll post something if I can find anything on it. I'm counting on a football and baseball NC as well.

Let's not forget that as long as Pat Henry is over there at Bernie Moore, both the men's and women's track teams are perrennial
threats to bring home NCs - both indoor and outdoor.

We may be looking at a Sears All-Sports Trophy this year.

Hey..how do Baseball season tickets work? Do you have to buy a pair of season tickets to get them? Or can you just get one season ticket? Someone said you had to buy them in pairs...any help?

I'm almost positive you can buy a single ticket...check with the LSU box office though

I can't wait for baseball. I told my dad after our loss in the CWS, that I think we have a very good shot of winning it all next year. The talk is the players feel like they are on a mission now.

It's time for Brady to get with it, man. As I have said many times, I would trade all our Baseball Championships for a Football National Championship (not feeling that strongly about it now that it may become a reality), but I would love to see the Tigers in the Final Four and rocking the way they did in the 80's.

Well, at least we rocked until we got to the Final Four. If only we could have had Chris Jackson, Shaq, Vernel Singleton and Stanley Roberts on the same team.:)
