1. I never said thank the white man for chaining your ancestors, I said thank your dead ancestors and God.

2. Why did you "read" into what I said that You don't deserve a "good" life? I never said that. Blacks deserve as good a shot as everyone, whether they are blakc, blue, purple, gold, whatever. I'm not the racist here. I have LoTS of black friends and the smart ones agree with me.

3. It's not my fault Black Miss America was founded. I simply pointed out that if there was a White miss America all hell would break loose. If you don't want seperate but equal rights and want to compete honestly then do away with those things. Are you saying Black women aren't as pretty as white women so you'd rather have it seperate? This makes no sense to me. Excuse me for thinking that all races can compete on a level playing field IF given the chance to do it on merit and not quotas

4. During the terror reign of the KKK in the south the area was Overwhelmingly Democrat. Check the records, it mostly still is today, at least on a local level it is. The party's arent what they were 50 years ago. I would surmise that 90% of the KKK were Democrats.

5. The propaganda machine has worked well on you. They have you believing that the Black man can't make it or compete in the world with out their help. Do you see how this makes you "dependant" on them? Look at "who" is helping your race. Who are these people who want you to continue quotas. What is their motive? Are they poor? Are they Black? Do they tell you things like "Elect me and I will make sure your children get an education and a decent wage" ? Beware of people like that. How does this help them?

6. The real reason you should be conservative is this. Look at just about every Black American of prominence and listen to what he/she has to say about entitlement programs. The programs are keeping you at bay, they are cleverly designed to APPEASE you and your people. They give you a little piece of the pie to keep you quiet. Those Black Americans that refused this and earned their own way are much better off.

7. I do not doubt descrimination exists, your racial attitudes are evident by your comment " go back to the woods" Blacks descriminate here in rural MS. I can prove it. If I am a stranger in town and white I walk into a predominately BLACK resturant I know here in town and I would get ignored because I am white. I've seen this with my own two eyes. Now same situation but I walk in ( years ago ) with a Black friend of mine, and instantly I'm treated like family. And let me say I hold no ill will towards these folks, they do it without even realizing it. To be quite honest, once you get to know them there are no better friends in the world. So can we basically say it is human nature to be somewhat "clanish" even among the same race Indians were "clanish" among their own tribes. So descrimination does exist and on both sides of the table. So what is the probelm? The problem is Blacks for the most part have more monetary and materail losses from descrimination than whites do. and this hurts the most. So when a Black man is descriminated agaisnt it hurts his wallet more than when a White man is descriminated agaisnt.

8. so how do we stop this? EASY take away AA and entitlements. These are the things that re enforce the mental attitude that Blacks cant make it without a hand out. It just strengthens the Racist. The black man gets bitter because he feels he deserves this yet he feels lesser for needing it. the White man who gives it starts to think the Black man is inferior for needing it in the first place. The answer is simple Judge a man on character and his own individual abilities and not his skin color. If a group of people are found to be descrimnating and it is PROVEN then deal with the indivual violation.

10. This last thing is going to hurt but realize I am saying this to make you think. The ONLY way entitlements and Affirmentive Action is right and can be justified is IF the black man IS actually less capable mentally than Whites. then it would be justified so that all could live equally. If that were so Blacks would need this to help them compete. Now if you are willing to conceed this, I would agree with you on AA. However, that is Ludicrous.

11. Put aside your hate and racial " back to the woods" BS friend, I'm not agaisnt you, I'm for you. I have a very good black friend of mine an Ex marine who calls me once a week from North Carolina. He is a former heavy weight kick boxing champ of the world, matter of fact he retired the title over 4 times. He is also an excellent Helicopter Pilot. he and I went to HS together, No he wasn't the smartest guy in class neither was I. We both played football and cut up way too much. I love him like a brother. He is another color than me but he is a man and bleeds red same as I do. He was smart enough to suceed and not get caught up in Racial quotas. He got where he is today on his OWN merits.
Put aside your past and quit living your life for your dead ancestors. Give you and your race a fighting chance. Good luck.

You know COLIN P is absolutely right here. The deeper problem he missed is this. There is a lack of education in ALL schools of ANY race and yes the Black man does suffer from it.

 

Did you read what I posted that refer to Colin Powells thoughts on affirmative action.

You have a black friend, so now you know everything about black people and how we think. It's not an issue of whether blacks or as smart but rather an issue of opportunity. You think if we eliminated AA, whites would just start hiring blacks and everything will be great. Well, there was a time when we didn't have AA, and we all know what that time was like for black people. I know and have many white friends who understand what im saying. Contrary to the perceived perception, we are not trying to hurt you through AA, but only trying to even the playing field so we can compete. Read what Powell said.

With the crispness and clarity that are the hallmarks of his delivery, Powell began by pointing out something that white Republicans often do not admit: that racism and the legacy of racism still hobbles African-Americans. "The issue of race still casts a shadow over our society, despite the impressive progress we have made over the last 40 years," he noted. Powell decried the way the country fails to provide a basic education or meaningful economic opportunities for young black men, choosing to deal with them instead through the criminal-justice system. "Time to stop building jails," he declared.

 

There is a discrepancy b/w white and black schools. The quality of education is inferior in majority black schools. It's not just the teacher but the technology and environment. Fund the schools and give black kids a fair chance. Same with poorer white kids, but poorer white kids tend to go to the poorer inner city schools where they are a minority. The govt is doing nothing to end this trend.
