That was disgusting. To have a well played game like that end like that. It was starting by a bunch of thugs. What a disgrace to college football.

    I Did

While post game brawls like this (and this one made the UF-FSU "spat" look like child's play!) can usually be blamed about equally on both teams, I must say it appeared some of the Houston players were completely out of control and the aggressors. several threw helmets at the Hawaii players who were celebrating at the center of the field as teams always do. We do not know what started it or who said what to fuel the fires - but it was pretty obvious some of those Houston players just completely lost control of themselves . First bowl for them in 7 years and they embarrassed their university after playing their hearts out. Sad, just sad.

Lemme tell you...June Jones is totally to blame for it...

If Jones runs the ball on 3rd and 4th down, with the way they were going on the ground to end the game, they run the clock out...

Instead, they threw the ball two straight times with less than a minute to go from the 20 or so, and with only a 7 point lead...

They miss the field goal, and the Cougs come right back down and punch in not an 80 yard TD...but an 85 yard TD score!

That silly decision to go for the jugular when you could have just taken the air out of it and sat on the ball and gotten away with the win in regulation was stupid on June Jones part...

I'm sure the "pucker factor" was quadrupled when he saw that long score at the end of regulation...

I was also surprised that he kneeled it with 9 seconds to go...With that passing offense, and with Chang's arm...at least TRY something...

He is lucky that his wideouts were continually not flagged for pushing off and offensive pass interference...

Undisciplined team...and all I can say about Houston is....DAMN that's a good freshman quarterback!

As an aside...Did anyone see the cheerleader from Houston after the long score they caught on an iso shot in the end zone...She was yelling, "Go Cougs" in the end zone and showing off her top...

Spandex city, and she won out on the mammary lottery, if ever there was one...

I lost track of the score for a few seconds...All I could think of is, "What a great production crew for ESPN...An exciting game like this, and they STILL have their priorities in order!"...

    Anyon else notice her?

I didn't see that cheerleader you're talking about, but I did see the brawl. That was just ridiculous. Houston really made asses out of themselves. I had respect for them for playing their hearts out in that game, doing anything to win, but that show of unsportsmanship threw all that respect right out the window. I couldn't believe that one Cougar player hold a Hawaii helmet SLAMMING down on the backs and heads of Hawaii.

Like you all said, what a bunch of Thugs.

Well just so you know, the highlight on SC didn't give it justice, the reason the Houston player had the Hawaii helmet was the fact that the Hawaii player had thrown the helmet at him and a hawaii player had ripped his off. So don't just use sports center for your highlights, cause the helmet stuff started with the Hawaii players, But i don't know who originally started the brawl, just that hawaii started using helmets first!

Both teams were getting pretty physical before the end of the game. After Hawaii won it got ugly. I did see a Hawaii player throw his helmet 1st but I think it was in retaliation for being shoved. Then all hell broke loose. One of the worst displays of unsportsmanlike behavior that I have seen. There was one where a UH player wlked into about 5 Hawaii players and smacked them with a Hawaii helmet. Bad mistake. He was jumped by what seem 20 players with fists flying.
