This is what I've seen others say: Had some good things to say about the D: - DL looks good. Wroten/Williams "as good as any DT tandem in the nation". - Mention deep depth at the DL, that so many players have shown upside. Will have a deep rotation more than likely. - At LB, Vaughn is the leader at LB. Talks highly of him. Says he fits the system very well. - Jason Spadoni was mentioned a lot, now at WLB. Pelini seems high on him. Says he'll help on D, which is suprising. Alonzo Manuel has moved to MLB. Quinn Johnson developing nicely. - Says Luke Sanders very versatille, can play an LB spot. - Prude has stepped up at CB. He's a team leader there. Thinks that he'll be talked about in the same light as TD and CWeb. Daniel Francis is his backup. - Chevis Jackson and Steveson battling for other CB. Both have looked good.
And he also said... - Sammy Joseph has made some big plays and is making heavy strides the last 2 weeks. - Says he can go about 6 deep or so. - Landry is a marquee safety he said. Speaks high of Jesse Daniels as well. - Craig Steltz made tremendous headway in the spring. He'll play a lot he said. - Curtis Taylor and Harry Coleman will be hell of football players. It's a matter of time before they are great LSU football players. Also said; "It's not about stopping the team for 3 downs, it's about getting the ball from the other team." "Your motor has to run every play to play. We want to say at the end of the game that we played harder than the other team. That's what wins games, that's what wins championships." On the Offense: -THe OL is as good as any. As well as WR and RB's. - Thinks we have 2 QB's that could play anywhere in the country. -Calls Jimbo best OC in the country. -Feels LSU is speical place or he wouldnt have came here. Really enjoying his time here, and has moved his family to town. Has tremendous respect for LSU.
Sounds like a class act. Nebraska, Oklahoma, now LSU--if Bo has success here, you have to think he'll be a top-shelf HC prospect down the road. Glad to have both him and Jimbo on-board. :thumb:
Re: And he also said... Good info on Bo. NOTE TO BO: Puh-lease remove this phrase from your vocabulary. Let the people on this forum know if you have trouble finding a replacement, like "relentless." Thank you very much.
