:lsug: Did anybody notice Travis Daniels get pushed in the back as he tried to make the game saving tackle at the end of the game?:tigerhead
I didn't see it. Thanks for pointing it out. That probably should have been called, but for the fact that the refs in bowl games don't like to decide the game with a call.
Well, I think the ref was probably too busy running down the field. However, if he makes the right call and it was a blatant push in the back, Daniels stops the play, time expires, we win.
I had a bad feeling about this one when Flynn came in. Don't get me wrong, I'm for him or anyone else but to be put in that position in a game like that with very little playing time is UNREAL. JR should've went in sooner, JMHO.
There is no doubt he was pushed in the back. No even a close call. But, as it turned out, it was no call. We just caught with our pants down at the end. That happens, I just wish it would happen to someone else.
If you see a replay, you can't miss it. Daniels is closing to make the tackle at around the 10 and some Iowa receiver comes by, pushes him in the back and knocks him off the tackle. It was an incredibly bad call that cost us the game.:lsug: By the way, how about that Iowa homer for an announcer.
Why does it seem like every game we play, we get a homer for the other team? Are there so few LSU fans, announcers adn coaches out there? :dis: don't forget about the first td we gave them, burnt twice in this one. :dis:
