Oh I know, put it this way also, maybe it's due to his time in the NFL but I see differences in "Nick Saban's" defense from when Muschamp was DC and now with Kirby Smart. It's kind of like the people who say Les runs our offense because we ground and pound. Yet those who are actually paying attention can tell the difference between our OC's.

I think they just learn from saban. I don't think that Muschamp was calling the shots here, and I don't think that Kirby Dumb is calling the shots at bama. But if he were to go coach elsewhere, he would eventually have a good defense.

i dont believe that, Saban is overrated as a Defensive guy, he is a great head coach and micro manager.

We will lose our hames thru the air, book it.
Our secondary and safties suck and the linebacker pursuit to the secondary is a problem too, but thats legitamately not their duty anyway.

They need to get back to basics, like tackling, proper angles, and not giving up big plays greater than 15-20 yds

Taking bad angles is the new short side option in the fanbase.

The defense didnt play bad at all in the first half, i was surprised how well they stopped the run. However, the second half, another story. The 2 long pass plays, completely Eugene's fault, he doesnt know how to play free safety. Also, White is young, but you cant slap a guy on the shoulder trying to press him at the line, get your damn hands on the guy and re route him.

White looked good, almost had a pick-6 late in the game.

yes for the most part, but that long pass on him really pissed me off. We are really missing Ron Cooper.
