Any word on Seimones condition?

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Seimone Augustus scored 22 points before crashing into the basket support midway through the second half Saturday and leaving before the end of No. 1 LSU's 76-52 win over 17th-ranked Georgia.

Augustus stole the ball and drove downcourt guarded by Janese Hardrick. She apparently lost her balance when she went up for the shot and fell hard against the support with 9:48 remaining. She was helped off the court and into the locker room clutching her left arm.

Augustus was taken to Baton Rouge General Hospital for X-rays on her left elbow. Her condition was not immediately known.

She was fouled by Hardrick...a hard foul but not flagrant. CBS switched to another game before the end so no word on her condition. SHe was taken to Baton Rouge General for x-rays. Doesn't sound good.

 

The x-rays were negative...she may be sore but she's tough and should be back to play.

Deep bruise...painful but she should be back quickly. She sure looked like she was in ALOT of pain on TV. I guess part of it was she was worried too. Good she is OK.
